For admission to the 1st Year of BBA (Hons.) course.


  1. Students of Science, Commerce and Humanities Group will be eligible to apply.
    However, for the Humanities Group only with ECO / STAT / MATH combination will be considered.
  2. Candidates with at least 55% marks in aggregate of top 4 subjects (English alongwith 3 other compulsory subjects excluding ENVS, COMMERCIAL ART & PHYSICAL EDUCATION) will be eligible to apply.
    Preference may be given to the students having 'Mathematics' as compulsory subject.
  3. Forms and Prospectus are available from the BBA(H) Dept. on production of Original Marksheet on and from 6th June 2011 to 11th June 2011 (from Monday to Saturday) at a price of Rs. 500/- only in Cash / DD in favour of 'Asutosh College, BBA' payable at 'Kolkata' between 12 noon and 5 P.M.

    Filled in downloaded form with required documents such as Marksheet of HS or equivalent 10+2 exam and DD of Rs. 500/- in favour of 'Asutosh College, BBA' payable at 'Kolkata' to be submitted at the BBA (Hons.) Department.
  4. Filled in forms are to be submitted at BBA (Hons.) Department latest by 15th June 2011 upto 5 P.M.
  5. Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) will be conducted on 22th and 23th June 2011 at 11:00 A.M onwards. Students are advised to follow the Notice Board on 20th June 2011 at 4 P.M to know their timing for GDPI.
  6. First Merit List of the successful candidates will be published on the Notice Board on 27th June 2011.
    Candidates of First Merit List will be admitted from 28th, 30th June, 2011 and 1st July 2011 (12 Noon to 4:00 P.M).

    Second Merit List will be published on 2nd July 2011 at 5:00 P.M.
    Candidates will be admitted on 4th and 5th July 2011 (12 Noon to 4:00 P.M).
  7. Third Merit List will be published on 6th July 2011 at 5:00 P.M. and the Candidates will be admited on 7th and 8th July 2011 (12 Noon to 4:00 P.M.)

  8. Course fee with Study materials is Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees Thirty Five thousand) only per year.
    The same can be deposited in 2 installments of 20,000/- and 15,000/- respectively subject to approval of the Principal.
    Total fees to be cleared within six months from the date of admission.
  9. Admission fees are to be deposited in the Bank of India, Harish Mukherjee Road Branch (Located at the junction of Hazra road and Harish Mukherjee Road) after proper verification of Admission Forms from the college office.
  10. Along with the first installment students have to pay University Registration Fees of Rs. 110/- for W.B. State students and Rs. 210/- for migrated students from other states.
    The University Examination Fees for Three years have to be borne by the students each year before the final examination as per University norms.
  11. The following documents are required at the time of Admission :

    • Marksheet of H.S or equivalent exam (3 copies).
    • Admit Card of Madhaymik or equivalent exam as proof of Date of Birth (3 copies).
    • Recent passport size coloured photograph (3 copies).
  12. The date of commencement of Classes is 20th July 2011.

Attendance. Students falling short of 75% attendance shall not be allowed for the University examinations at the end of the year or session.
Mobile Phone, is strictly prohibited in classrooms, library, laboratory, corridors, stairs etc. Please ensure you have your mobile phone switched off when attending any session.
No Ragging. Any Student found involved in ragging either in the college premise or in the hostel will face immediate expulsion from the college as per order of Supreme Court.
