Qualification for Admission to the Three-Year B.A./B.Sc. (Hons./General/Major), B.B.A.(Hons.).
A candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of the 3-year B.A./B.Sc. (Hons./General/Major), B.B.A.(Hons.) and UGC approved B.Voc./Diploma/Advanced Diploma Course of Studies provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100.However, no candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular Course of Study after passing the previous qualifying examination.
Explanation: The year of admission shall not be taken into account while calculating 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying Examination.
For the purpose of determining eligibility for admission to the Honours Course, aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in top-four subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate. However, marks in compulsory Environmental Education /Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of aggregate marks. If the subject "Environmental Science" is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, may be taken into account for the purpose determining the aggregate marks.
2 (a). A Candidate taking up Honours/Major/General/Vocation/Diploma/Advanced Diploma Course in a subject must have obtained (C.U. Rules):
Hons: A minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. For BBA 55% marks in the aggregate from any discipline.
Major/Vocation: For these Courses a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate at the previous qualifying Exam.
General/Diploma/Advanced Diploma: For these Courses, a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate at the previous qualifying Exam.
However, Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or OBC-A or OBC-B Community taking up Honours/Major/Vocation Course of Study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate at the previous qualifying examination, as the case may be.
A candidate shall be allowed to take up the subject (s) under heading A if he/she had passed the subject(s) under heading B at the previous qualifying examination.

The Steps to be taken for On-Line submission of application :
Step - 1 : Fill all Fields in On-Line Application Form sequentially

Step - 2 : Use separate On-line Application Form for each course.
Step - 3 : Record unique Application ID No which will be generated automatically after submission of the On-Line Application Form for future reference.
Step - 4 : Print Bank Challan (Student and Bank copy) any one of the following Banks and Application Form (Student's Copy) after submission of On-Line Application.
(* in any case, if you fail to print Bank Challan / Application Form (Student's Copy) then go to the top of this page and Click 'Print Application Form / Bank Challan' menu just right side of 'Apply Online' menu)

What to do after merit lists are published:
For Admission to First Year B.A./B.Sc. (Hons./General/Major), B.B.A.(Hons.).
Lists of candidates selected for admission along with waiting lists will be displayed on College Notice Board and Website on the date notified.
Candidate selected for admission must Print Admission Form and fees payment voucher from College Website.
Fill-in the form correctly, attach attested photocopy of all the necessary documents :
Mark sheet of H.S. or equivalent examination.
Proof of date of birth.
Caste, tribe or disability certificate from competent authority.
Domicile certificate, if applicable.
Proof of Residence-Ration Card/ Voter's Identity Card/Aadhar Card/ Passport).
4 copies of passport size coloured photograph.
Get the forms verified with all original documents by the respective Department
After verification collect ADMIT order from Principal's office.
Filled-in Registration Form along with Admission Form are to be submitted in college office to get the Roll No. with Fees Book and Identity Card.
Submit your college Roll No. to the respective Department after admission.
Taking Admission within stipulated date is mandatory failing which the candidature will be cancelled.
Students, already enrolled in another College, should get their Admission cancelled from the previous college, before collecting Admission form.
Wait-listed candidates for honours courses are advised to keep-in touch with respective Departments and go through the website notification for information regarding current position in admission list.
N.B.
The admission is provisional, subject to scrutiny and verification of the documents submitted. The provisional admission is liable to be cancelled if they fail to submit documents required by the University. If admission of any such student is not approved by the University, she/he will not be entitled to any refund of fees.
Selection will be strictly on the basis of merit.

What is Add on Course ?
This is an initiative taken up by the UGC. After selection process is over, the particular college is entrusted with the offer the courses to the undergraduate students, apart from the subjects of his/her study as per university curriculum. The course is completely free and splitted up into three segments, such as certificate, Diploma & Advance Diploma. Any student, studying B.A. or B.Sc (Honours or General) in any subject can opt for parting such course one at a time.
Why it is necessary to go for Add on Course ?
Add on Course would help the student to make himself/herself more suitable for the job market. Above all, this would help him/her to obtain dual degree from the university.
