The Asutosh College Training Centre (ACTC) was established in 1993 in the Premise of 10, Basanta Bose Road, Kol -26, adjacent to the main college Building. It is commonly called the Annexe Building. The former Principal Dr. Subhankar Chakravorty opined that the traditional syllabus oriented education should be supplemented by some career-oriented courses to cater to the modern day demands. Accordingly in January 1993, the first two units of ACTC were opened - these are Computer Training and Higher Services Training.
Present day Scenario suggests that mere entry in a profession is not sufficient enough.
One has to improve his/her allround personality development.
This may be attained through comprehensive training on Soft Skill Development.
